Rangoon is a city crowned by the wonderful Shwedagon Pagoda. From Rangoon you can always fly to Mandalay and take a wonderful journey to the Irrawaddy River. At down you can visit 11th Century capital Pagan. The Inle lake region is extremely serene. The hospitality of the Shan people can be enjoyed which is really praiseworthy.
From Yangon or Rangoon you can take a short plane ride and can reach the town of Bagan. This can be mentioned as one of the most popular tourist places in Myanmar. Although Bagan is very small place still the beauty is praiseworthy.
The whole town is filled with alluring monuments and exciting temples. More than 2000 temples are there in this small area. Out of which some are pentagonal while others are unique in formation.
Some of the tourists spend weeks moving around from temple to temple. They explore, relax and also ponder in these temples. You can feel a level of freedom and serenity here. The visitors have to walk barefoot here.
You can travel in horse-and-buggie carts and can roam different places in Yangon. These rides are rational and also charming. You can visit temple to temple. At sunset, tourists and locals trek to the highest temples to enjoy the superb sunset on the specific region.
Couples hold hand in hand and stare each other at this romantic red glow. Children play as the place is really clean and beautiful. Bagan is a pleasing and a mild spiritual escape. You can feel calmness from inside. But Bagan cannot be mentioned as a day trip from Yangon. One night is required to spend here. If you stay two nights a boat cruise on the river can be enjoyed. Hot-air ballooning is an extra ordinary experience available here. But it is little costly.
